The arctic room was begun early in 2008 so that it would be done by the time Isaac came home.
This is Eden and Isaac's room. After completing Maggie and Silas's woodland room, Hannah
tossed around several ideas for Eden and Isaac's room and finally decided on an arctic theme in
which she would create her own characters snowboarding and sledding and having winter fun.
We had a lot of ideas for the room, including use of glass blocks to look like ice, and some other
wintery touches, but when we got home from China, the "funding" for the room had been cut off,
so we postponed finishing it. We had hoped that in a few months time, things would be resolved
and we could continue to finish the room, but now that we are reaching the end of the year, I have
decided to post a page showing the work so far, as I do not know when it will ever really be
completed.
Enjoy...
This one reminds me of Hannah herself.

The inspiration for this one is Canaan; he has pants like this too.

The inspiration for this one is Eden.

The inspiration for this one is Shaun White. That's even what his board looks like.

Here Hannah is using bright orange paint,
and if you look closely, those aren't drop
clothes under her. That's a brand new
white comforter. So, anyway, now we
know bright orange paint doesn't "wash
out". But, in her defense, I'm not any
better when I paint.
I will post again when the room is really "done"! Stay tuned!
