Pickles...
Pickles is eight years old now. She is a loyal
and sweet dog, despite the fact that she
doesn't have much of a sense of humor. On
the other hand, seeing all the babies and pets
we've brought home to her, I can't say as I
blame her.
Biscuit...
For Hannah's thirteenth birthday we said she could get a
puppy and after much thought, she chose a cross between a
border collie and a blue heeler (aka Australian cattle dog).
This was to ensure a very smart.and active dog, which she is.
Biscuit was born on the same day that we first met Maggie,
Nov 24 of 2003.
She can jump really far and really high, which really comes in handy when,,, well, it comes in handy for,,, well okay it really doesn't come in handy for anything but it's cool to watch.

They haven't killed each other yet, but we mustn't lose hope.

Our current birds are Dorito
and Twinkie. The birds
always belong to Hannah.
Tic Tac was her first
cockatiel, and he flew all over
the house, and finally out the
door. So her next bird,
Cheerio, had his wings
clipped faithfully. But when
Nutmeg the ferret found him
in the middle of the night, he
could not fly away. Next came
Dorito, the grey cockatiel,
bought as a baby in the fall of
2002. A few months later she
got Twinkie for her eleventh
birthday. Once when some
kids were over, Twinkie was
walking on the floor and a kid
accidentally stepped on her
head. She was basically
scalped, and the vet said he
would be amazed if she lived.
She did live, but she has a
bald spot on her head, and
she's not the brightest bird in
the world. We figure she
does pretty well considering
what she's been through, but
she is a little more touchy
than Dorito. If somebody
stepped on my head, I'd be
touchy too. Dorito is very
sweet and affectionate.

Peapod is about the prettiest
cat ever. She came to us in
late April of this year. Our
neighbors found her
abandoned and brought her
to us temporarily. We were all
surprised when Daddy told
Jordan she could keep her.
At first she stayed just in
Jordan's room, but before
long she became a part of the
family with everyone loving
her. She is sociable and
sweet, and very funny as most
cats are.
I don't even have a picture of the fish,
but to be fair, they do exist.
Sugarplum is Jordan's beta fish, and
Pepsi is Canaan's. I am amazed they
have lived so long. The cat has her
eye on them though.
