A skink Biscuit found in the
backyard. He had no tail, so
maybe Biscuit had caught him
once before.
Hannah handing the skink
to Maggie. Hannah has
caught hundreds of lizards
in her lifetime.
Canaan the dancing
griller. And below, he is
consuming three
bratwurst with mustard,
pickles and onions.
Campout night. S'mores were greatly
enjoyed by all. Silas gives me a
"thumbs up".
The Tooth Fairy has been busy at our
house! Silas and Maggie both lost
teeth this month.
Eden and Isaac were in the
kindergarten program at church. Eden
had a line to say and did very well.
Although she said her line three times,
twice at the wrong time.
I thought it was funny to see them next
to all the other kindergarten kids in
their class. Check out the boy next to
them!! And see how big their tee
shirts are on them.
Beautiful summer faces.
Making Mother's Day bouquets for the
Grandmothers. They each designed
their own flower, with their photo in the
center of the flower.
Here is another
bleach out shirt I
made, this time
for Pop. This is a
B-26 Marauder
(or at least it's
supposed to be.)
A cool picture Art took of Maggie looking out the window at a spider.

Hannah gets a haircut! I love her hair. It is so
beautiful, but eventually even long hair needs a trim.
It looks even prettier now!!
BEFORE
AFTER
Canaan's 18th Birthday starts out with
homemade donuts.
After bowling with his friends that night, they all came back for wings, and I made five pies. We ate, blew out candles, and ate some more, and then they all played Nerf guns together.

Canaan with his best friends.
His present from Maggie, Silas, Eden and Isaac was a great big Nerf gun.
Here is another shirt I made that I think
came out pretty nice.
My beautiful garden....
05-14-2010 UPDATE:
The excitement this week was Canaan's 18th birthday. More
pictures are posted of the fun. It is hard to believe my three big
ones are all "adults" now. Canaan finished his spring semester
classes with high A's in all his classes. He is enjoying a couple
weeks off and will start his summer class next week.
We are all greatly enjoying the summer weather, and the kids are
loving swimming even more than last year, if that's possible. The
garden is doing very well, and I am delighted to see my
strawberries turning red. If they do well, next year I will plant more.
Hannah's surgery went well, except that it was more difficult than
she thought it would be. She does not like medical things to begin
with, and getting an IV was pretty traumatic for her, especially when
they had a hard time doing it. But she is all fixed up now, and in six
weeks she should be good as new, or even better.
All the other news is on the new May 2010 page.
Leaving behind Jordan and Canaan
while the rest of us head for Florida.
Art had some work at Motorola and we
decided to come along and visit
Grandma and Grandpa and have some
fun at the beach later in the week.
Eating sandwiches at a rest stop.

We went to a playground by Lake
Kissimmee. Here is Hannah with
Grandpa.
We walked down by the lake and enjoyed nature.
Here is a snake we saw among the rocks, and below is Hannah about to go
and try to catch it until I told her not to.
How can two small
girls take up so
much of a bed?
We visited Uncle Jake and Aunt
Beth's house and we all went
out to a fun Italian restaurant
where there was a man who
made balloon animals! Eden
was delighted with her monkey
in a tree and carried it around
all week.
Sitting out by the fountain with cousin Jacob.

The next day we went to a really cool
water playground with Grandpa and
Grandma and Uncle Jake and Jacob.
Grandpa put on his bathing suit and
joined in the fun and there were some
great pictures, but I didn't think he would
appreciate my posting them here.
Hannah caught a little green anole; so pretty.
There was also a really cool
playground next to it with lots of things
I'd never seen before. This little tulip
cup spins around. Eden is spinning
Isaac.
This circle thing would turn as you walk
along it. The girls had a lot of fun and
played on it for quite a while.
We got to eat out the next night too! This time at Panda Express. (Thank-you Grandpa and Grandma!) We have only been to a Panda Express once before and it was a real treat.
