Joyful girl
Joy "helping"
Canaan replace a
doorknob.
Daddy loves his girls.
Little girls making mud
cakes.  What could be
cuter.  I could sit and watch
them do this for an hour...
which, I did... so... hmmm....
Sisters
forever....may
you always find
something to
giggle about.
More sister-ness,  can't get enough!
Okay, now it is time for Daddy's
birthday!  Canaan dry rubbed three
racks of ribs.  Yum....
An interested
observer.
She's cute even
when she's crying.
Visitors!  Art's mom,
Granny, his sister, Aunt
Abby, and his two
nephews, Brendan and
Alex, all came to visit for
a few days.  Joy went
right to Brendan and
crawled up in his lap!
I love a full table.  Food and fun and talking and laughing together.
Brendan and Alex are 15, and
they are awesome boys.  Not
that this is a surprise, but
these days, it sometimes is
surprising to find nice, polite,
unselfish boys who are nice to
little kids and pleasant to be
around.  B & A have always
been sweet boys, and I always
worried that some day they
would "grow out" of it, but so
far they are still just a
pleasure to have around.
Lots of football fun!
In the huddle...
I just love this picture.  The happiness
and joy in the bright spring afternoon.
Cousin boys.  Don't the three big boys look alike?
Joy is introduced to spray whipped
cream!  She immediately had her
mouth open again for more!!
This was Eden dancing to "All the
Single Ladies" by Beyonce.  She was
watching the video and pulled her shirt
off one shoulder to look like the video.
I did get some great video but I turned
the camera on its side by mistake.  I'll
try to get some more!
The
birthday
boy!
I hate this picture of
myself, but I cracked
up when I uploaded
the pictures and saw
Canaan's EYE behind
us!  Talk about
creepy!  I think it's
hilarious.
Here's a better shot.
 One of the littles
took this picture of
us.  (And no creepy
cyclops behind us.)
Is there a cuter 20 year
old on this planet?
I submit that there is not!
Granny.  :-)
Here are a few pictures I forgot to post on last
update.  I overheard Hannah saying, "You kick me
as hard as you can, and then I'll kick you."  This is
normal in our house.  And yes, they practiced
sparring and yes, they both took turns kicking each
other as hard as they could.
We needed a family picture for a post placement update, and this was
one of our first poses.  But we ended up choosing the one below.
