DECEMBER 22, 2009 UPDATE:

I was appalled to find that it has been almost a MONTH since I have updated the website.  Oh my!
And what a huge job.  I have spent my birthday uploading pictures, and working away on the site.
So there are LOTS of pictures to look at.

The biggest news, and the reason I haven't updated in a month, is that our annual Christmas card is
done!!  Hooray!!  I just noticed that this was our 20th year of making homemade, handmade
Christmas cards.   Although it is a tradition and a big part of our Christmas celebration each year, I
am always relieved when they are all on their way out.

There are pictures of the kids decorating the tree, and of the little ones in their Christmas program at
church, and the kids making Christmas cookies.  Also, we got our first snow of the year, and it was a
good one!!  It was great fun, and there is still some snow on the ground.

Art has been working this month, thank God.  He had a contract at Motorola for one week, and is
now working on another contract at RFMD here in town.  We are very thankful, especially at
Christmas time, that he has work.  Another contract will be beginning very soon, and some work at
Motorola is lined up for the new year.  We have been waiting and praying for work for the past many
weeks and months, and we are very excited for the contracts that have come through all at once!!

And we want to express our profoundest thanks to all of you who have helped our kids to have things
for Christmas this year.   Thanks and love to Cindy E., the wonderful Talley family and friends, our
neighbors the Robins, and of course Mr. Homer and Mrs. Cindy, and to my sister....   Thank you all
for blessing us.  We thank God for you.
