A nature walk with Hannah and Widsar.
Some action shots of jumping across the creek.
I really like this picture.
I love how Silas takes care of his little sister.
She oughta be in pictures.  She looks like she belongs
in a Gap commercial or something.
And another one of my beauties.  The eyes have it!
But for those who know my sweet girl well, and have
followed our sad tale of her four surgeries in
December, you can notice how her mouth curls up on
the right but not the left.  It didn't used to do that.
Really praying the new surgeon knows what he's doing.
Playing spoons.
Getting ready to go snowboarding!
Maggie got a tea set for Christmas that she loves.  Here
she is having a tea party with Silas and I love how they
are both reading books at their party.
And an outside tea party.  It reminds me of Max and Ruby
with all the stuffed animals invited to the party too.
Saying grace...
Playing make up.
New Year's Eve.  When we lived in Florida we had a tradition of
burning our Christmas tree in the back yard every New Year's Eve.
We would usually have a barbecue and it was lots of fun, but once we
moved to NC we realized we couldn't do that so well anymore
because it was too cold out and too dry.  Wouldn't want to set our
forest on fire.  But this year was so odd!  As you can see how the kids
are dressed, it was unseasonably mild, and it had been raining some
so it was not too dry.
Happy New Year, and may
2012 bring blessings to us all.
