To start off, we have pictures of a very
exciting package we received from our
cousin Jessica in Thailand.  Joy got this
adorable outfit....
Maggie modeling a beautiful Thai dress...
Canaan in Thai fisherman pants, which are
very cool....
Isaac with a woven dinosaur and Silas with a
bag full of Thai bottle caps!
Eden with the most adorable OWL bag!  She
loves it and has been carrying it everywhere.
Hannah got some Thai boxing shorts she
loves, Daddy got some Thai spice packets,
and I have some lovely woven flowers!
Thanks Jessica!!
Guess who??  Widsar took Hannah shopping and they had a blast.  But for
those of you who know Hannah, these pictures are shocking.  Hannah in a
skirt?!?!  Hannah wearing high heels?!?!   Well, she wasn't happy about it,
but she looks great.  I asked her why she would never try on stuff like that
before and she said that when I would ask her and she would say she didn't
want to, I wouldn't make her, but that Widsar wouldn't take no for an answer!
Hannah cooking.
Fried Haitien plantains!
YUM!
More slip and sliding.
Taking a nature walk in the woods.
Widsar didn't just do Joy's hair, but also Eden's and
Maggie's and Hannah's too!  Then she taught me how to
do some of it.  Here she did one braid on Hannah and I did
the other one.  You can see the difference.
Then Hannah taught Widsar a little Taekwondo.
More trampoline ninja fun.  Here Maggie's just
hanging out up in the air.
Silas on the trampoline too.  shhh... don't tell his surgeon.
Widsar, painting nails.  She painted the girls' nails and did their
hair and played make up with them and colored and danced and
played.  She did many things with them that they haven't done in
the last several months because Hannah and I aren't so good at
them.   Widsar's visit was definitely a God thing and a tremendous
blessing for all of us, a very healing time.  She just brought joy into
our home.  We all really needed that and are thankful.
One morning I found the kids out back blowing bubbles over the
pool and watching them all land on the water.
The kids begged Widsar for days to swim with them.
Of course she finally did.
And she was an awesome help with Joy, playing with
her and reading with her and even changing diapers.
